Brandon Sanderson is FANTASTIC! Mistborn is one of my favorite series. Such a unique magic system. I'm working my way through The Stormlight Archive now. Also an amazing series, but getting to be as many characters to follow as Wheel of Time.

I found a lot to agree with in this article, but also see a fundamental misunderstanding of what gen AI can and cannot do. I also found several misconceptions about AI and ML in general among the commenters who issue blanket dismissals of any use of AI though. Need a thesis to reply in full though.

My thoughts are with you and the other brave people of Ukraine. Hopefully this horrible war ends soon. I've worked remotely with a couple teams of Ukrainian software engineer contractors and I don't know how they managed to work under those conditions. I don't think I'd have the strength they do.
