I think my biggest complaint is the difficulty scaling
The endgame with all of the upgrades feels amazing (for the most part)
The bosses doing double damage there also feels fair enough
But the early/mid game just feels way too difficult for the upgrades you have

The boss death animation played
It is entirely reasonable to assume it is over
Other fights have a fakeout end as well but they don't come with an instakill
The only reason it exists is to kill players who let their guard down (simply not fun)
Not to mention the runback
