I want to get one signed so bad. I love this art.

I think the pregame conversation is still the most important piece in this equation. The public facing reference they put out could improve, ie including key questions around cEDH, “Are you trying to win as quickly and efficiently as possible?” & “Will you use misdirection to do that?”

In the article they define late game as turn 6 or later. What they could do a better job of is clarifying that what they want to restrict is 2 card win conditions that can occur before turn 6. The entire bracket system aims to guide behavior, but so does every other rule that exists.

You can’t regulate player’s who attempt deceit despite existing resources. You can only provide resources that help encourage and guide the game curation process. If YOU want to see more pregame conversations, initiate them, use this system to help. At least try it.

If you’re playing at power level 3, then run both. If you’re really trying to call your deck a bracket 2, but you want to limit test the highest you can go in bracket 2, then build and play for bracket 3. I don’t believe this system was designed to have people constantly pushing boundaries of 1-4.

It isn’t always the case, but I find a lot of people who build like this purposely, and they expect others to do the same. So like cEDH benefits from specific bracketing, so does this group. There is a segment of people who want all fast mana banned, including sol ring. B1 could also be their home.

Only kind of because it has some clear indication of restriction

I think these will serve as a much better guide for rule zero conversations than what’s currently in place, but I still stand by the real issue being that folks just don’t have rule zero conversations enough.

What medal rank are you? My buddy is collection level 1400ish and just hit vibranium on this list

I hit infinite on day three of this season with these two decks. My collection level is high though so sorry if these are too far off from what you might be able to run.

I’ve been saying this.

Woke up to the smell of someone cooking delicious cardboard breakfast.

Voice very soothing.

Interaction and varied win conditions, folks. If you don’t play removal and your win condition is swinging with no tricks, you frustrate me. If your strategy is pillow fort and wait… why did you show up?

I see the vision and I approve

I’m so sorry for your loss.

Then, you’re supposed to go fight a god to preserve what’s left… My party sent the refugees to the Sword Coast.

Arna and Time Sieve…. Forgive me, I’m mainly a spike.

Throwing this in Arna and trying to fish for every artifact in my deck.

Bullseye is cool but room is too tight to include him with the other best pieces and lines. There is a list with Frigga and Daken that’s pretty good though. Here is my current list because I’m missing Frigga. Ideally just swap Grandmaster out.
