I actually looked into this about a decade ago. At that time, Safelite was owned by a South African company, which was actually majority (90%+) owned by a company based in the Netherlands.

at the risk of getting a New Yorker magazine fact checker in trouble: New Mexico clinic protesters are just as free as Texas clinic protesters to open-carry firearms. Doing that in New Mexico might bring a lot more unfriendly attention from local law enforcement in Albuquerque, though.
