I'm pretty sure the psychology/psychiatry fields will need to come up with a new name for the psychosis that it takes to make the brutal stabbings of two people about oneself. It'll take decades of research to see to bottom of this abyss.

Make no mistake. These layoffs ore not due to "slimming down" or "chasing AI." These are tariff layoffs. This is the "other" way that these companies deal with the higher costs so they don't have to say they are raising prices.
