I'm excited to read this! Sounds extraordinary and moving. A note. My dad, Ronald Geballe, was U Wash Phys Dep't chair - hosted your grandpa Eugen in 1967-8 as visiting professor. He was at our house a few times. Don't remember much beyond that, but this makes the book more personal for me...Best!!
