The US has *not* been trying to purchase Greenland for 150 years. With just a second or two of searching, ChatGPT provides a nice summary of Greenland's sovereignty and the treaty the US signed with Denmark in 1917.

That word "barred" is new to me. I have been licensed to practice law in three states (but not in Washington) and I've never heard it. Is that a California expression? Like the word "sanctioned" it can clearly mean two different things.

It was the toughest. most demanding job I've ever had. I was glad to do it, and I would do it again in a heartbeat if it meant I got to spend just a little more time with them.

It is an embarassment to Big Law that other law firms caved in before Perkins Coie took a stand. Those firms owe the rest of the legal profession, as well as their partners, their associates, and their staff, an explanation and an apology.
