Hydroponics. This enclosed space is called the "mother room". Which houses several cannabis plants in the first half of their life cycle. From clones and seedlings only 2 weeks old all the way to Mother plants that are more than 2 years old. LED lights hang overhead. Everything is above ground in pots. We use elevated low bearing drain to waste trays to collect waste water. The flower chamber. A hydroponic system specifically for plants in the 2nd half of their life cycle. Four low bearing drain to waste trays underneath four LED lights in a square. Each tray has nine plants in 2-gallon fabric pots surrounded by a PVC frame and trellis netting.

Turkey day transplant sesh 🦃🪴

After the 2-gallon pots are filled with medium. Cannabis plants in 5-inch plastic pots are carted into the hydroponics set-up in this picture, 18 plants are already transplanted, while 18 more await their fate. All 36 plants are transplanted. The hydroponics set-up has four drain trays containing nine potted plants. Each tray has a L.E.D. overhead.

This feminized cannabis plant nearly died due to a missed feeding cycle. What we see here is xylem cavitation and embolism.

A happy, healthy cannabis plant in a grow tent. It is in the late flower cycle and has been given silver thiosulfate solution. Which slows down ethylene production within the plant and starts the development of male blossoms, also known as anthers. It's the same plant. It wilted due to poor conditions. We missed a cycle in the feeding schedule and caused severe damage. Cavitation and embolisms have hindered the plants' ability to intake water from the soil base. Literally on the brink of death. It's the same plant. Fan leaves that have wilted are removed from the plant. Got a pile of over fifty to one hundred damaged leaves. The rest remains to recoup. The flowering tissue, also known as buds, remains intact. Male blossoms have opened, and parts of the plant are pollinated.

Earlier this month, I raked the topsoil with House & Garden 'Rhizo Force'. AKA Bacto Force - A Super-Concentrated Blend of Beneficial Microbe. Contains Compost bacteria, actinomycetes, co-enzymes, proteins, azo bacteria, lime, bone powder, blood powder, bentonite.
Holding Six cannabis plants in my hand. Rooted in a soilless medium called Q plugs Six plants plotted in a soilless medium in the afternoon. They are in partial sun at 78 degrees Fahrenheit Almost 24 hours later. These six plants are acclimating to the outdoors. Indoors, the light cycle begins at 8pm and ends at 2pm the next day. Placing these plants outdoors gives them an initial +23 hours of daylight before reducing to less than 14 hours.
