Our community has a party bus and the owner starts an hour before the pantry opens and drives around picking up people that need help. We have a FB town site that they connect on. I’m so proud that they do this

Oh yes. Older and wiser. I managed to survive, thank the Good Lord. It was a tough life when I was young. I found my inner strength and learned a valuable lesson about the churches in my area.

I lived this as a divorced single mother. I tried to go to the nearby churches to (hopefully) be accepted into the congregation and looked for help. That never happened and I felt ostracized. It was a very sad time in my life

I wish someone would give “it” a shot!

I read a woman’s story about her disabled son. He’s only alive due to all the meds and equipment and care all paid by Medicaid. If they take it away, he will literally die within 24 hours of the last meds as they are so expensive. So blood will be on the hands of those shutting off Medicaid
