last sunday i saw the overland go past platform 3 at north melbourne station (see pics below)
i thought the overland ran on standard gauge! would these be old broad gauge carriages running as heritage rail? being transported or something?

turns out they're on one of the old street view photos lol

it was near the train station, so I can only assume they rolled it all the way up the ramps and let a train hit it, then chucked it back down. it's too crumpled in too many directions to be anything else.
