last sunday i saw the overland go past platform 3 at north melbourne station (see pics below)
i thought the overland ran on standard gauge! would these be old broad gauge carriages running as heritage rail? being transported or something?

the siemens trains all have these seats with station names, but half of these stations don't even get siemens trains?? idk if, say, east malvern, has ever had one of these trains stop there, let alone in regular service

today I saw a crushed shopping trolley
it was near the train station, so I can only assume they rolled it all the way up the ramps and let a train hit it, then chucked it back down. it's too crumpled in too many directions to be anything else.
