There's this gorgeous building in Oakland right on Lake Merritt that I have a good view of from my apartment- really ornate Art Deco, Spanish Colonial Style. Just a great example of the best of Bay Area architecture. I just looked at one of the penthouse kitchens and it's an absolute war crime.
