Follow up: my sister said she saw the GM of the pizza place (not the crazy owner) and he gave her a big hug and she cried. She also got them flowers. She is such a good person. This is why I will always defend her.

So my husband and I got married in 2021. I needed health insurance FAST because of my medications and starting my private practice so it was a courthouse wedding. Now we are finally planning a wedding that will take place around our 5 year anniversary. It might result in my mother and I’s divorce 🤗

Ugh I love my doctor it’s like visiting my fun super smart aunt. But also I always lose my car in the Mayo Clinic parking lot and accidentally walk into some reflection cactus garden.
Driving to Phoenix today to see my Neurologist who has taken gentle care of my brain for 20 years now and has seen me at my lowest when I was having seizures regularly. I’m bringing her a mug is that okay???

The restaurant that turned into a bar to try to compete with my sister’s bar failed so spectacularly that literally ONE WEEK LATER they have apologized to her and are going to start making pizza again because they “didn’t realize how dependent they were on her customers”. Journal: My uncle passed away yesterday. I’m so glad I got to spend this past week with him and his family. My mom just had surgery so she couldn’t and my dad had to take care of her. Everyone is sad but fine. My husband is keeping my peanut butter supply stocked. I am 50% peanut butter.

Journal: my heart is very full after another night with my aunt and cousins while my uncle is in his final days (cancer). I brought them dinner and we set the table and laughed and told stories while he slept in the bedroom. Then we did dishes and laughed some more. They just needed some normal.
