I think it'd be a fair discussion to revive ancient Greek democratic ostracism. Every few year a vote gets taken whether to vote for ostracism, and if people vote yes then a vote happens to send someone into exile for ten years

Beyond Nazis' policy decisions, there was a reason they hated Karl Barth so much. He undermined the authoritarian conception of Christianity theologically in a way that laid the groundwork for liberation theology to directly confront authoritarian movements.
