Yesterday was my last day at Jackalyptic. I will miss my time with such talented people. I am looking for my next role as an artist and designer focused in #ux and #ui. My last project was within the #UnrealEngine on an unannounced Games Workshop game, here is a sample reel of my released work.

I tried Space Marine Adventures for the first time tonight. It is a nice quick game, which we won by the skin of our teeth. I liked it! Now, to find some 'Nid's to replace the cardboard.

Picked up some boxes from the local Barnes and Noble, I have a plan for the killteam box.
I'm going to make it into a flight of the Eisenstein scenario, so I started converting the figs to represent Garro and Decius. I still have some cleanup and edits to do, but up next is Grulgor.

#boardgames fun! We played "Black Mold" by @terriblegames.bsky.social, where you have to hold your breath on your turn! The longer you remain in the caverns, the more mold enters your lungs. We ended up as twisted fungal thralls in the end. This game is tough, stressful, atmospheric and fantastic!

#boardgames fun! We played "Black Mold" by @terriblegames.bsky.social, where you have to hold your breath on your turn! The longer you remain in the caverns, the more mold enters your lungs. We ended up as twisted fungal thralls in the end. This game is tough, stressful, atmospheric and fantastic!
#boardgames day at a local brewery. Escape the dark castle is always a blast to bring to the table. If it weren't for the spell book, we would have been done for! Luckily, some good rolls for party wide heals let us stand against the undead queen!

#boardgames night! We played Valor & Villany: Minions of Mordak. It was a close game, but the heroes came together in the end and killed Mordak. It's a solid one vs many game, and playing the boss is a lot of fun.

A return to Blitz Bowl tonight and the CommandOrcs show for their second game, this time against the Pittsburgh SteelOrcs. The SteelOrcs took the win with a pair of back to back touchdowns, ending with a 25 to 15 point victory.

My dwarf referee is done! I tried reducing my blends, and leaving downward facing angles alone to push contrast and speed up my paint time, I could be more efficient with my planning to cut more time, but this was an improvement

The latest addition to my Blitzbowl #boardgames roster, the Pittsburgh SteelOrcs.
I really like how the yellow patterns and the leather came out.
Also, a #minipainting PSA, be careful of that first spray out of the varnish can. I forgot to spray a bit out first, and it cleaned off some paint 💀.

This has been an excellent #boardgames weekend, played some Wrath of the Lich King pandemic on Saturday, and then today was board game day at a nearby brewery. I brought some by, and we got in a game of Worms for a nice bit of chaos.

All of "The Necrohamster" fits with enough space to pull cards, and the extra pocket holds the special cards and rules. On top of that, the pamphlets fit snugly overtop! Now I need a label.

I went to a rennfest event at a brewery over the weekend. MD rennfest is way too hot to wear most of this garb, so it was nice to have more use of it, I gotta find more fun ways to use this great kilt.
