Preprint Alert! Walking mostly feels natural and easy to us - but the neuronal control of walking is actually incredibly complex. New preprint from the lab: Like many animals, including us humans, fruit fly males generate multimodal signals during courtship—song and vibrations. Elsa Steinfath and Afshin Khalili found that these signals are produced in distinct behavioral contexts by a shared brain circuit.
