Only if you play other effects that search/care for typed lands, such as Tithe, Gift of Estates, Karametra, or Nature's Lore

It definitely is. But if all you're doing is dropping a single dragon it tends to be relatively fragile.
Now you can drop an extra mana rock, a planeswalker, etc.. but in the end it's an 8 mana enchantment, so it might just be too little too late

I need to see it played, but I'm looking at this as a multiturn value card, yes it's expensive. I often end up with the choice: do I develop the board or do I drop a dragon? And with this in play you can do both. I think this is still fine if you only drop a single dragon per turn 3 turns in a row.

I'd have to check but I think my Ryusei, the Falling Star deck is my most hipster at 39 decks, which is always surprising, because he makes such a good dragon typal commander.

Last game I played with mine, 2 of my 3 opponents copied the council. The card draw shennanigans were through the roof, and the board states impossible.

I called mine 2 + 2 = 4, becuase I really honed in playing cards that say second; second card each turn, second from the top, second spell...
Words of Wisdom is my new favourite card in the deck, for 2 mana you draw at least 4, possibly 5 or 6 if you're lucky

I'd like to introduce Sefris of the Hidden Ways, I build her for my partner as the DnD commander with a mix of Initiative, Venture, and Party mechanics and it's such a fun deck. It can really pop off and clear a dungeon in a single turn, but has never felt super overbearing at the table.
