Is that definite that Doctor Who was thrown to Disney by the BBC as a bargaining chip for the Bluey rights? That was very interesting, and telling info if so. Really enjoyed the discussion and it was helpful as I’m processing and sorting own my own thoughts and feelings.

Just listened to your (great) imperial phase/Madonna 2-parter. So interesting though, do you not see her ability to bounce back so big/quickly post-“Oh Father” as evidence that her imperial phase was still going? I always felt hers went all the way up until the Erotica/Sex book hysteria in fall ‘92.

I would be so happy for it to be up to something completely nonsensical and pure gobbledygook, vs going down some deep and meaningful mythological rabbit hole. (It feels like it’s the latter atm.)
