It’s honestly fucking heartbreaking. I lost all respect for him. I’ve lost a close friends to this stupid bullshit and I have no idea what to even do with the sadness, because at this point I’m not sure he’d even care that he’s hurting those around him.

I don’t even know who to talk about this with, really. By the time he stormed out of the call we were in with one of our friends, he was saying we should end birthright citizenship. I have no idea how he went from an occasionally progressive liberal to this in the span of a year or so.
