I don't know if this was ever posted but here's a commissioned piece I got from @beelur.bsky.social. really happy with it still

listening to my favorite album right now (patricia taxxon - the flowers of robert mapplethorpe)

while all of patricia's work is nothing short of genius, I can't help but love this one specifically for its unafraidness to dive into the topics of ageplay, sexuality, and trauma

there's something so beautiful and timeless about 80-90s furry art... it really does feel like you're looking at a part of history, something Important

it's an interesting art piece, i like how weird it is. it seems like no one has even bothered to look at what the artist's said about it, instead opting to make cheap jokes for easy engagement dopamine

I was reading a historical website on the subject (objectum-sexuality.org) when the writer mentioned the coiner of OS's love of fences. I understood something in that moment. I look at something like a picket fence and am fascinated by the shape, the uniformity, the texture of wood and paint

take for example, these concepts for 101 dalmatians by walt peregory. I love the simple forms that still unmistakably read as dalmatians, I love the blocky coloring and bold shapes in the background. aiming closer for realism doesn't hit as hard to me
