I don't understand what your point is beyond expressing unhappiness that moderate dems keep winning over the progs.

I'm not scolding you or calling you entitled. I was expressing concern that the rhetoric of "we shouldn't promise moderate dems our vote" sounds close to "let the GOP win".

Progs have to sometimes learn when to play ball to get places. Not that I love our current system full of lobbyists and backroom deals. But I imagine Mamdani hasn't hit every single policy leftists want and hes made concessions in places to at least get some of what he wants.

I'm not familiar with your specific politics. Just the idea of letting conservatives win seems to be a popular idea amongst leftists when we can't get everything we want.

If they continue to win the majority of the vote they are kind of the party, yeah. Why do you think progs nearly never win primaries?

And the alternative is kind of the worst thing imaginable. Trump has been horrible for everyone in this country and we sink to new lows every day.
