scp {path\file} {user}@{host}:{path/file} to directly copy the file from a certain directory on one machine to the exact directory on the other machine.

This took a few attempts because of course I botched the permissions.
Once that was corrected I tried again - and this time successfully so

It was quite tricky actually.

First I had to correctly set the rights of every user and group involved. This included multiple directories.
This I did using the commands chmod and chown.
