Just let one round of Social Security checks go through late and I wonder what will happen.
I work there and I can tell you we had several calls because checks didn’t show up exactly on time today (showed up hours later than usual )and people panicked.

Federal Employee here and it is a crock, don't show up to work and we will pay you? Says who? It's a scam.
The only scary part is that they basically made it clear that if we don't quit, they will make our lives worse.
