So I'm (re)watching all the MCU movies in order. With fresh eyes, it's amazing how utterly incompetent the good guys are and inefficient the bad guys are in the Avengers.

The Democratic Party has a lot in common with one of my favorite horror movies, "The Descent." It's all about caving and a group of trolls f#!cking people over.

Watched the newest Jurassic Park movie the other day. Needed to watch the original (which is more than 30 years old now) as a palette cleanser. That series has gotten progressively worse over the years, but the original still holds up nicely.

It's disturbing how enthusiastic the red-hats are in my county. This administration has done nothing positive, which means they're happy about all the negative. They're happy because while their lives aren't better, other peoples' lives are worse.

Why can't people be more like cats? Food, water, a place to poop, and a place to nap. Hopefully not the same place. Occasionally knock something off the table. Simple happiness.

Why is that with every streaming service, I have to click a dozen times to play the shows I want, but the ones I'm not interested in start playing automatically whether I want them to or not.

I'm now so old that taking naps is exhausting.

This evening is one of those times where I'm just getting angrier and angrier and wishing like hell that I had a good outlet for it.

Saw the new Superman movie finally. It was . . . not super.

So exhausting by being angry that I almost lost track of the things which I was supposed to be angry about. Which in turn made me angry. Welcome to 2025.

Everyone deserves a lazy morning every now and then.

Sorry, but a token gift doesn't make up for voting for the guy / movement that seeks to demonize people I actually care about. But thanks for playing.

Nothing says "duh" quite like being told that you need to eat smaller meals and then ordering a full (not "four") order of chicken-fried rice and an egg roll. And I wonder why I still have heartburn after six months.

Those who voted for this out of stupidity remain stupid. Those who voted out of willful ignorance remain ignorant. And those who voted for this out of moral bankruptcy are doubling down.

They say you should never meet your heroes. You also shouldn't look up celebrities on Wikipedia.

What is this obsession filmmakers have with starting a film near the end, then going back to the beginning and showing how they got there? It literally gives away part of the story that you're then forced to watch it twice.

I'm now apparently responsible for feeding all the animals.

"28 Years Later" should've waited a few more years. It wasn't ripe yet. Well, maybe it was, in that it kinda stunk.

Spaceballs 2? Really? Is that really something that we need?
June 13, 2025 at 2:26 AM
Having a rowing machine and a cat that lies to jump on my shoulders at random moments is a recipe for disaster.

Invented a new word this morning. "Swuteird.". When you are attempting to call your cat sweet, cute, and weird at the same time, and your mouth goes into business for itself.

Not sure if there are too many movies where sharks eat people or not enough. I'm leaning toward "not enough."

Struggling again to find activities that will allow me to establish some sort of social structure. I feel that one avenue is slowly closing, and I can't figure out where to go next. Getting a bit tired of this grind.
