They won because they were against Trump. Most American voters have short term memory when it comes to politics. If things aren't good under the current president then they'll vote for the opposite party. They didn't win because they inspired people like Obama

Hm, I see what you mean. I do think he has addressed it a bunch, just not in this interview. He has pointed out systemic racism numerous times, mostly during Trump's first term. It's likely he(and others) are steering away from that to not make the white working class feel uncomfortable.

Unfortunately we won't win over the working class to class consciousness if we demonize them, even if we are absolutely right. I personally would like to hold them accountable, but idk if we can do that and still win the class war. I also don't think he's trying to forgive them.
