yes . The connectivity is still a positive. The sidestepping of toxicity and brainwashing is the tricky bit 🤣

I think Macron said it first.

strangely, the ADL
who leapt to defend Musk’s clear enactment of a “nazi salute” a few weeks ago, now condemn Bannon for the same gesture. These maga goons are taunting the world. First the policies, then the public gestures… the uniforms soon come

Yeah but.. he’s right, but french post colonial diplomacy really undermines his right to speak with any moral authority.

I have covid and i’m on holiday in jamaica so i binged this podcast. Hearing you episode has made me re-watch Afterlife. I am definitely not a fan of your standup (is it ok to say - it’s a taste thing) but your sitcoms are great and Afterlife is so entertaining on a second watch. Great work.

UK intelligence service are too busy to be interested in US citizens comms. If GCHQ are doing this it is more than likely they are doing it to assist US intelligence circumvent their own laws which prevent them from legally spying on their own US citizens.

Absolutely. It’s just a complete waste… i support labour but CC&S storage is their PPE scandal moment

Again, i don’t recognise your perspective. Let’s leave it. This discussion is going nowhere. Have a lovely evening.

I disagree with that statement. an autocratic right wing govt is more like putin, orban or that guy who runs turkey (sorry tired can’t remember his name). Starmer is defo centre left but that is just not left enough for some on the left wing who would prefer an unelectable agenda.
February 5, 2025 at 10:35 PM
I think voters were clear they were getting a centre left govt. that’s why we won. If leftwing labour voters voted starmer expecting to get corbyn .. i feel that was an unrealistic idea. I offer our labour government support knowing it is so much better than the right of centre alternatives.
February 5, 2025 at 11:08 AM
And that makes my point exactly. starmer is a compromise but it is that compromise made Labour electable. I support personally maintaining an ideology but wrestling power away from rightwing parties is more important than sitting in opposition and arguing for those ideologies in their perfect form.
February 5, 2025 at 10:12 AM
If the corbynite left don’t get behind starmer then we’ll end up with a reform govt and it will be their fault. When did solidarity become a dirty word for the left?

The Cambridge Analytica connection…

does he? interesting, i hadn’t heard that. I thought his pal putin could more honestly take the credit.
