Grants bring money to institutions. When fellows earn grants, institutions put them at an economic and tax disadvantage. puts granted postdoc fellows in a non-employee status, and reduces their benefits. Time to change this exploitative system.

Everything is at stake for postdocs. Career, visa, or publications. Academia has a skewed power dynamic and retaliation is prevalent. Postdocs are standing up to an unjust system that pushes great scientists out.
