Zelensky is a truly remarkable person -- talented in so so many ways. I think his acting background helps him in situations where he must tolerate idiots. Plus he has genuine moral fiber.

Yes!! Let me see this!

I knew a doctoral student from Nigeria back in 1990. He was actually completing a double doctorate in oral surgery and histology. He scored first in the US on the oral surgery specialty board and 5th on the histology board. Amazing. I really missed him when he went back to Lagos.

Wow! That's some list! Kudos to all of them!

I lived in northern MI for four years. In the long winter, it felt like a B+W Ingmar Bergman film: the ground was white, the sky was grey all the time, the deciduous trees were leafless and black, the only color, dark green came from the pines. And it felt endless.

This is a stupid idea: a liability, given that the majority of patrons at the Kennedy Center are seniors. The armrests will be cold (given AC levels at concert halls), hard -- potential for osteoporosis fractures, risky for potential falls (not a surface easy to grab) + acoustically horrible.
December 28, 2025 at 8:04 PM
seriously? how many lies do these people think we will take?
December 28, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Those armrests will be cold (given level of AC in concert halls) and hard. not comfortable. They will affect the acoustics negatively.
December 27, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Plus, my spouse (acoustician) says marble arm rests will affect the acoustics of the hall. Sound will be louder at the start of the pitch and bounce around more.
December 27, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Plus, those armrests would be cold, given the level of air conditioning typical of concert halls. Cold and hard.

Your comment completely on the mark! Our economy is based on illness (and now letting people die).
December 23, 2025 at 11:18 PM
This is so so awful! destructive to students, degree holders and the general public. Designed to create indentured servants of those with student loans. Designed to send college education + graduate degree programs back to 1920s-1930s: only for rich white people + those with $.
