It's time that parties stop gambling with OUR lives. It's past time that we changed our electoral system to one that is truly democratic and supports everyone. It's time we seriously looked at the proportional systems that more than 90 countries use.

Electoral reform is really a fight for democracy. Everyone should realize that a change in electoral systems will make us more democratic as a country. That change is a change to a proportional system and not one that allows the number of seats to govern, but the number of voters to govern.

It's nuts. A win of less than 1% gives total power. Canadians need to rise up in numbers or we're stuck forever because no gov't has enough of a conscience to allow PR.
