Baking >10 years of software engineering experience into an AI-powered mobile app starter kit to enable makers go from idea to app stores in under a month.
Does anyone know what happened to pomotodo.com?

It stopped working a few weeks ago. It is a pity, it was a great app

Summary of my first week baking >10 years of software engineering experience into an AI-powered mobile app starter kit...

- Lots of coffee ☕
- Still struggling to show up consistently in the mornings and 2h of deep work 🧑🏻‍💻
- Lots of market research assisted by ChatGPT 🚀

Makers and Startups move slow because setup takes forever and wrong tech choises impact the end quality of the MVP.

I’m building KairosApp (Pomodoro + Todoist + AI) to show how KairosKit can help founders ship production apps fast.

Follow along 🏄‍♂️ 🚀

Day #3

I implemented a React Native + Expo started kit assited by my Senior Engineer Cursor.

I then asked my other Staff Engineer Claude Code to review the code and do quick production ready assessment and suggest improvement areas....

I decided to go for Firebase as a default BaaS. The second biggest tech stack decision is choosing the right component library.

My ChatGPT co-founder is suggesting me to go for GlueStack v3 vs React Reusables. Any thoughts or experience reports?

Day #1 was about doing the initial "market" research and understanding what people is missing in the existing mobile app starter kits.

I leveraged ChatGPT as a market research assistant and "co-founder" :)

🚀 New month, new side project. Building a React Native starter kit to help makers ship mobile apps fast but with quality & security baked in.

Curious: for your next mobile app side project, would you rather have it wired up with Firebase or Supabase?
