I’ve had the cheapest Amana from HD work for years no problem. A lot of DW failure is bc people don’t run them enough and don’t clean them out with vinegar (no bleach) Kitchen Aid should be a great DW

The best thing you can do is call up a large, well-reviewed repair shop and ask them if there are any brands they don’t work on and which brands are hard to get parts for. In my town I had to stay away from GE bc everyone stopped accepting warranty calls for them.
