On Saturday, October 18, ICE agents used a barrage of tear gas, stun (flashbang) grenades, and pepper bullets on demonstrators, leaving the neighborhood street in front of their building filled with gas for at least 10 minutes.

Federal police again deployed teargas and pepper balls at a massive crowd of protesters in front of the ICE facility. Several agents chased protesters across the street, then fired off munitions.

Hundreds are gathered at the Portland ICE facility, lining the sidewalks. Federal agents have already used gas to try to clear protesters from the area. Protesters are chanting "F*CK you fascists!"
