I had a lovely day today with my partner and our friends. And we found the gay krismas tree.

We have friends visiting this weekend, arriving this evening. I'm very happy about this. Also this new friend visited us today, and I am very happy about that too.

I wanted to read Wild Boar by Hannah Lutz. Checked the library, not there. Filled in the suggestion form & asked them to stock it. They've just written back saying "Ok, it's ordered, we've reserved it for you and we'll let you know when you can come get it.". How excellent is that? Go libraries!

It was 44 years ago today that my lovely sister, Kath, died. She didn't quite make it to 30. And here I am now heading towards my 60th year. She was a force. Self-righteous at times for sure, though usually right with it. And kind and caring and gentle. And still missed.
