I have to much respect for the armed forces, and I’m fully agreed. Everything about this is terrible. Donny Dementia is ruining Thanksgiving for millions but his ICE minions are getting paid, his troops are deployed to our cities, and his “ballroom” is expedited.

It’s grotesque.

Standing in front of a tank is one thing. Demeaning/mocking protest of this nature is another. Regardless, he shouldn’t have been arrested.

Those orders are unlawful - and that’s part of my conflict. I’d be 100% in support of this protest directed at ICE agents. I’m conflicted when this kind of protest is directed towards members of the armed forces.

The files aren’t the main reason. The shutdown will end once Trump consolidates all financial decision making through the executive. Congress will then approve constitutional changes making the legislative branch purely ceremonial. Epstein files won’t be a factor at all.

I saw the pastor footage . There was another pastor who was shot in the head with rubber bullets. There are going to be people killed and lawsuits. When I think of the millions of dollars wasted and lives lost just to satisfy this raging narcissist’s ego…

He’s clearly just manufacturing conflict. Put soldiers where they aren’t wanted, and conflict will happen. People don’t like being invaded.

That’s also what I thought would happen. Trump does have a military problem. I don’t think his support there is what it needs to be for him to start wholesale violating the constitution with marines/army/etc. He’ll continue to rely mostly on the national guard where he’s got some kind of leeway.

That’s my theory as well, and he’s doing it well before the midterm elections. He’s going to declare martial law, “suspend” the elections and just move forward with his agenda.

I was expecting this to happen in his first term. I’m actually a little shocked he didn’t fire all the generals.
