I was at Game 3 of the 2009 NLDS with my friend The Boz. After Joe Thurston struck out, I turned to him and said, I think we just saw the last at bat of his MLB career.
I was wrong - he would get four at bats for the Marlins in 2011 - read about one “cursed” team
