Very left -no, further left than that. Started a theatre co. in SF; ran it for years and years. And years. And years. Directed, produced (shows & CDs),acted, & against my better judgment, sang. Charlie’s dog dad. She’s a girl (think Hitchcock).🏳️‍🌈🐶
Interesting. The French is "All's well that ends well."

Hilarious. You offer no proof whatsoever and claim someone is "turning a blind eye" if they don't believe you. Typical.

There was a hilarious musical in LA ca. 1980 called Jane Heights. It combined both Brontë storylines and was so funny and well-reviewed that I expected an off-Broadway production that never happened. Howard McGillin was a demented Heathcliff..

There's an episode of I've Got a Secret where Joan is the guest, and she and Betsy Palmer are asked to do the dialogue from their big scene in Queen Bee. Joan gets a script but Betsy has to do it from memory.

I'm disappointed he didn't include Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell instead of Ordinary
People.

Jack the Ripper wouldn't have been caught dead killing someone in "Miter" Square.

At 62, she was the alternate for Aldonza in the '92 MOLM.
When Sheena Easton collapsed on stage, Joan finished the performance and took over the role. By most accounts she looked/sounded much as she had in '65. It became *the* performance "not to miss."

I know there was some sort of scandal when Joan was in the original London cast. I think she went to the South of France for her day off and wound up calling in for a couple of extra days r&r. When the London team found out, they fired her and sent her packing back to the US.

Someday we'll have stereopticons that move ...

Bea Lillie did a summer run of High Spirits at Papermill in 1965. Carol Arthur as Edith was the only other person from the OBC to join Lillie.
