Many journalists, especially those on AF1, hold themselves in high regard; forth estate and all that. But they’re as degraded as Big Law and elite universities. Hollowed out by greed and perceived power.

Buttigieg is an empty suit who will do or say anything for attention. His big idea in his nascent presidential campaign was Medicare for all, and then he got attention and disavowed it.

Bc a good portion of the population is trapped in a right wing media bubble, which polices the terms of the mainstream media bubble…and no one has ever explained how Ds are supposed to effectively counter-act that.

A good portion of voters are captured by a right wing media ecosystem that perpetuates this stereotype constantly, and guess what…they’d do it even if Ds ever only talked about the economy. No one has ever articulated a way to combat this ecosystem, instead it’s just buying into the caricature.
