Cool how AI made up the random scribbled triple diamond shape that has nothing to do with any other pattern in the map, though. Guess the machine learning for generating maps randomly knew there was a park here.

I'm not here to get into semantics. It's a minimalist map meant to convey the general structure of the city.

I can see that you aren't worth the time to try to convince. You're hellbent on this AI nonsense. You don't want an answer. You just want to be angry.

Also, it's not more complex. It's desaturated and minimalistic. A good base to put a focus visual on. It doesn't have to be perfect. Sounding the AI alarm over a low detail map is kinda bizarre. It also doesn't really matter; there are plenty more things in the world to care about than this.

It it was AI, there'd be inconsistencies with the drop shadow, and roads would be far more erratic.

Instead, this looks like someone just loosely drew the map in photoshop for a brief map view in a video. I just don't understand what the big deal is. This is such a weird hill to die on.

AI would mess it up far more than just simplifying streets.

He made a simple map to help illustrate the general layout of the city. He just needed a low detail visual to put his stuff on top of. Normal map is too busy for a quick glance in a video. He does this in literally every mapping video...

You also gotta factor that a lot of people are probably waiting to play it alongside a Switch 2, so it's probably gonna be a slower burn. Still selling very well.

Not surprising that it's a little less than PLA, given how popular Gen 4 is. Certainly still doing very well, which I'm happy to see. I also suspect this game will be a slower burn since a lot of people don't have a Switch 2 yet and don't want to get it on the original Switch.
