Quality headphones are a most, or quality home theater speakers if you're blessed enough to have a soundproof gooncave. Yeah, I feel like at that point it would be good to have expressed consent from the performer, otherwise it can get pretty intrusive. I've seen a guy on twitter AI deepfaking himself making out with Daisy Taylor and even tagged her and she fucking hated it. It all comes down to good sense.

It's a big gray area, imo it largely depends on what you do with it, if it's just making a caption more dynamic it's not unlike other types of edit where you're adding context, it gets trickier the more puppetry you add to it. The line is the same as always, if a performer says no, I'll stop.
