My girlfriend was an artist and painted the cover of So Far by Joni for me. She whitewashed it when she found out I cheated on her. I will always regret it.

Careful With That Axe, Eugene and Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict are my favorites here. We used to listen to this album when we were trying to get “enlightened”.

I love Tommy Bolin. I put Dealer on a mix tape back in the day.

This album took me by surprise. Side one is outstanding. I also like the lineup changes. This is a new old version of Yes.

So many great songs. The GP album is a classic must have for the emerging country rock genre. I also love the Love Hurts duet with Emmylou Harris from the Grievous Angel album. Hats off to a legend whose story had a tragic ending.

I love this album dearly. It’s the first Elton that I owned (on 8 track). It reminds me of when I was 13 being in my room listening to my first good stereo. It was one of my Columbia House Record Club 10 albums for a penny choices.

I’ll take It’s Only Rock n ’Roll even though there are some great songs on Goats Head Soup that kind of define the era for me. The main reason I chose the former is that it’s hard for me to get past Winter.
