I believe that technology is good.

I believe that humans are good.

But bad humans with bad technology is dangerous.

We owe it to ourselves to spread awareness and education to those who need it most…which is all of us.

I think CISA could have used different wording regarding VPNs. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that they are necessarily suggesting not to use a VPN. I think they’re just suggesting that there are a lot of bad VPN providers that probably do make your attack surface much worse.

Why are Microsoft products like Windows, Outlook, etc. a flaming pile of garbage?

This thought exists outside of just shower thoughts by the way.

I know I may sound like a broken record player, but nothing is free.

If you are using a free digital service or application, YOU are the payment. Your personal data is being collected, sold, or utilized in ways you could never imagine.

There are very few exceptions to this, so please be aware.

Real pain in the tech world is when turning it off and on doesn’t fix the problem…

I really love a lot of things about Bluesky…but I struggle to find a lot of the content I used to be able to easily find on Twitter/X. News organizations, tech people, companies, etc. are all missing.

I long for the day that this app can be the what Twitter/X was meant to be.

The technology behind cryptocurrency is actually pretty cool and very useful, but the dumbass finance-bros came in a ruined it. Their pea-sized brains didn’t understand it.

Their misuse of it tarnished its reputation to the point that I’m not entirely convinced it will ever be seen positively again

I posted about the Tor Browser recently, and it got me thinking that it may not be for everyone all the time.

As an alternative, I believe the Mullvad Browser, which is a collaborative project between Mullvad VPN and the Tor Project, is one of the best ones to use.

Free the internet. With the Mullvad Browser.
The Mullvad Browser is a privacy-focused web browser developed in collaboration between Mullvad VPN and the Tor Project. It’s produced to minimize tracking and fingerprinting.

Huge proponent of this wonderful tool 💟

The history behind Tor is crazy in itself if you ask me.
