Pretty big stuff out of Sony: an expected launch window for Marathon (this financial year), an announcement that Bungie will become a PlayStation studio in a more traditional sense, and acknowledgement of Sony's live-service blunders to this point.
Sony has addressed shareholders concerns regarding the delay of Marathon and its overall live-service strategy.

Said CFO Lin Tao: "It’s not entirely going smoothly, but from a longer-term perspective... you see that there has definitely been change."

Bungie's Marathon shows great promise, but it's still missing something at the very core of its extraction gameplay loop, making it difficult to predict how Marathon will launch or where it might one day end up. My hands on impressions: youtu.be/bZVwBavB0Mg?...

Incredible strength and courage from Zelenskyy. Standing up to a room full of bullies in an orchestrated, stage-managed ambush. Never backing down. Never letting the lies take root. Absolute hero for the ages.

These corporations are having a really hard time getting *anything* out the door.

I’ve seen this story getting a lot of traction on Reddit today but it’s not true. People across the org were informed before my article went out last week.

The PCGaming Subreddit has banned all links from Twitter, citing what a cesspool it's become. It's the first major gaming sub I've seen do this - any others? www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/c...
As of today /r/pcgaming has added x.com to the domain blacklist.

Star Citizen reaching $750 million funded is absurd.

The developers then laying off employees after working them 7 days a week for several weeks straight is disgusting.

The community going to bat for them and defending the working hours+layoffs as "common practice" is downright depressing.

Been posting on Bluesky for like 2 weeks and already have as many followers here (and 3x the engagement) as I do on Threads which I grinded for more than a year. Threads is an all time fumble for Zuck. It's like it was actively trying to avoid being the thing we wanted it to be.

Quick Lego Horizon impressions after about 4 hours of playtime: it ain’t great, sadly. So far very simplistic and one note (even for a kids game). No mission variety or scenario design, no interesting levels to explore, few gags that land. Reviews are pretty down on this one and I’m not surprised :(
