I was wondering why the media was being so vocal about Gavin Newsom and his response to the current administration vs how they are covering Kathy Hochul's response, which I would say is on par with each other(and I am not necessarily a Hochul's supporter. I googled each and realized why.

So Google Maps has changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico. BUT, you cannot search for its new name. AND if you hover over its name from being zoomed out and then scroll zoom in something very interesting happens! Guess Google really has thrown out their old motto of "Do No Evil"

Last Christmas I was gifted @scalzi.com 's "Starter Villain" but I never got a chance to read it in '24 cause things. So I sat down to read it today and finished it with this view almost the entire time(which seems appropriate.) I hadnt known how much I needed this story. So many laughs and giggles!
