I don't often think of au's where one is a beta and stays as a beta.

It's refreshing.

Cue Binghe knotting sy so much and baby trapping him.

Now sy has no reason to reject him when binghe says they should be together - it would be best for the baby!

And of course he convinces sy that they don't need protection because beta odds of pregnancy are practically nonexistent.

But, binghe is half demon.

He is very powerful in more ways than one.

He tells binghe it's so he doesn't accidentally mark someone in the heat of the moment. So he doesn't accidentally get them pregnant etc.

Of course Binghe jumps at the chance and maybe gets his hands on some meds to force his rut to start early.
