What a shitshow. One of the most respected papers in the country is turning into a shell of itself — and sacrificing so much talent — for what? Allegiance to dollars over democracy cannot end well. Bezos needs to lose that slogan fast — he’s actually helping to turn off the lights!

Interesting story. But man, I wish copy editing was still a thing. I’m a Pittsburgh native and Penn State grad. The city misspelling and incorrect university reference are just sloppy, and make one wonder what else the reporter might have gotten wrong. Hope those are the only mistakes.

They should have captioned it, "The face of evil."
