I hear you. We need hard evidence. Time to manifest DinosaurCon.

Due to lack of executive functioning, I will plan nothing.

We’re in rare company.

The thought has crossed my mind, yes.

DinosaurCon…with real dinosaurs.

That would be so amazing. 🥹

If it helps, I think I’m dropping the ball with you, so….🤷‍♀️

Reconnecting is hard!

I just finished watching Smallville for the first time in which Alan plays Aquaman.

Following on the Superman kick, I watched Superman & Lois in which Bitsie Tulloch plays Lois Lane. Imagine my surprise when I recognized her on Grimm. Her character got a raw deal for sure.

I shared your thread with my husband, too! When I read the paragraph about Lessons, I didn’t know they were an existing mechanic. The way they work with Avatar is so intuitive, and I had very little trouble picking up on them.

I keep hearing so many good things about it. Always afraid to start something new, but I need something to offset the Grimm withdrawal once I finish that.

Ooh! Nice! I look forward to reading it in depth. I skimmed through and saw mention of older cards redone as avatar cards, which is something my husband observed as well.

It is! Beautiful art, and they really understood how to adapt the magic of the show to the rules. My husband has been playing MTG for decades, but it’s my first deep dive into it. Not sure how well the MTG rules wove into the Avatar universe.

We got so many Avatar MTG cards and played during thanksgiving.

Indeed. Whoever named it knew their coffee well.

‘Tis a bland coffee…for someone raised on Arabic coffee and espresso, at least.

Haha, this is a special position I’ve developed over the years to offset all the herniated discs and sciatic pain.

It’s therapeutic.

For me and my dad, we’d love to have a couch small enough for us to sit “like a person” instead of a tiny child at their grandma’s house.

Thank you. I understand exigent circumstances and neurodivergence. I communicated empathy and left room for grace. I need to protect my mental health, too.

Saying, “No, your emergency doesn’t constitute one on my part” is just hard.

And I feel super bad for saying, “Normally, I don’t mind waiting until tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have two more of these things to do for tomorrow.”
