My only criticism is that it smells rubbery on me. Something kind of bouncy and plastic. Very weird

Also I definitely know this smell. It is an absolute classic.

"well you write sexual assault and make it sexy" I sure do and will continue doing it but I'm not going to spend 4 pagers trying to convince the reader it was justified. Instead I'm going to allow the characters relationship to be negatively affected by the action and see how the story progresses

I want to take every living persons hand in the world and say "it's a really bummer we still glamorize sexual assault if we like the person whereas we remain disgusted if we don't like the person, huh?"

Good thing everyone is officially psycho in this book

It gets even worse too. Imagine your wife who you presumably love has been sexually assaulted twice in one day and by the end of the day youve had a big fight and spanked her with much struggle. You tell her that you too wanted to rape her because she was beautiful while being hit. Yikes 😬

I don't think that's going to happen since the author put so much effort into convincing Claire the beating was justified

Reading this story has been pretty helpful, no wonder I like enemies to lovers so much. If Jamie was framed more like a villain she was paired with to run from a worse evil, Randall, I think I'd be down with the being beaten scene. Cept that means eventually he will repent for the beating

I watched before sunset last night, and in a lot of little ways, I like it more than before sunrise. It does feel more mature. I also appreciated how willing these two were to be honest with each other despite 9 years apart, which highlights the strength of their connection. Lovely.

Her and Encre Noire sucks at first. I want to kill that cedar note so bad. (Most conifer scents just blow) But after that passes, the vetiver is warmer and sweeter than ever. The musks blending at the end are fantastic.

Heterosexual romance novel stop being so trite. I'm tired. At least we know he's an equal opportunity sociopath

Aren't I worried about smelling bad? No. I am having a personal experience. You can either come along for the ride or leave me to it. Thanks. (Side note: what if I tried axe? Which axe should I try?)
