The irony is that my high school added So. Many. Technology electives, it was hard to fill a schedule without taking them. I thought I was going to be a therapist, and snarked "what do I need these computer classes for, what am I going to do, psychoanalyze computers?"

It would also be nice if it could distinguish between similarly named contacts, like Tim and Jim, and call the correct one, but let's not get too far out over our own feet here.

My vision is this, and I don't care if it comes from AI or some other kind of technology: I would like to ask my robot assistant to look something up for me, say the operating hours of a business, and answer a question like "will this place be open when I arrive".

It's worse than that. Earliest email starts off with "if you didn't know we had been a couple, she gave it away with..." Reads like he's already had an affair with her and wants to get back together.

What hits me about this is that I'm a BU alumna. BU cost $30k/year for tuition, room, & board in 1995. Obviously, it's much, much higher now. Car wash employees are zero threat to this failson, and probably to anyone else he knows.
