okay like I KNOW subpurb owl is supposed to be a superbowl pun but I am 99% sure that I am going to make Superb Owl a cartoonish rocket launcher style weapon skin for DOOM as soon as I decide what I think that should look like

I'll be hitting my old fandom blog backup b.risingslash.net with the SimplyStatic treatment within the next two weeks. I haven't properly maintained it in years, and leaving it up risks Wordpress shenanigans causing problems.

alright, took me way longer than I'd have liked, but I got Ultimate Doom Builder compiled (ended up having to get msbuild from a strange github repo and get libXfixes-devel despite not using Wayland, and specifically force Breeze theme to make the text readable vs Breeze Dark)

I'm glad to see the game get its narrative fleshed out in a more traditional story format. But also that means there's no way to have it "Basically Animal Crossing vibes" since stuff that's mostly optional in game isn't a choice here. 😿

I know Little Guy is a little baby doggo but he tires me out constantly with him testing the limits of "No!" and constantly pestering Biggum and it feels like every time I've sat down from dealing with them I've lost another entire hour of the day.
Kinda makes me not want to bother leaving my room.
