Retired electronics technician, boat builder and sailor, Arcimoto and Organic Transit owner, bought my last gallon of gas 10 years ago. The American car addiction is deadly.
Zen Buddhist for 54 years (and no, you do not know what that means).
Electric trikes are even better.

Spend a little more for a light EV. My solar/pedal hybrid velomobile cost $6k ten years ago. Every year I saved $3k in insurance and gas compared to owning a car. After 7 years I saved so much money I bought a new $20K autocycle which also uses no gas, insurance is just $140/yr. These are safe rides

Wrong! Cars are not essential in most areas. We just decide that they are the only way we can get around with an unreasonable expectation of luxurious comfort. These oversized overpowered cars are mostly driven alone, with three empty seats and empty trunk. Bike, bus, train, walk or use light EVs

All that money I saved? Used it to buy a US made LEV. a real head turner and man it is a blast to drive! 77 horsepower, harness and roll cage. I still use the 10 year old ELF in my neighborhood.

Bought my last gallon of gas ten years ago. The Organic Transit ELF hybrid powered bike, with a 350 pound payload capacity, was all I had for 7 of those years. In those 7 years I saved $20,000 by not owning a car!

I drive an autocycle that looks a lot like the Tron cycles from the movie. Feels like it too.

Excellent news! I bought my last gallon of gas 10 years ago and so many car addicts think I'm eccentric because I only own 3 wheeled electric and solar powered vehicles. I remind them that I'm saving $3000/yr by not owning a 4 wheeled gas car. That adds up.

The bot accusation is as desperate as the shill gambit, played when you have no cogent refutation to the assertion. You lose the debate by forfeit.

Bought my last gallon of gas 10 years ago. Retired, I pay no taxes so I can not use credits. So I paid my way but both of my EVs have been TREMENDOUSLY affordable and cheap to own, to the point that they have paid for themselves. Imagine insurance of only $140/yr and never buying gas again.

For dangerous bike zones there is a great American design that protects you from weather and direct impacts, makes you highly visible and it has all the lights and horn like a car. It was my only transportation for 7 years and it is solar/pedal powered. No insurance or gas for 7 years!

The shill card is played by conspiratards with no evidence - "bought off" is not a legitimate debate tactic.

The shill gambit, desperately played by those with no evidence to back their claims.

The abuse of personal cars is local to virtually everyone in the US. Rethink the car addiction. Average trip 2 miles with three empty seats and an empty trunk. Bike, bus or train is the answer. Try going with three wheels. My 1300 lb. E-autocycle costs just $134/yr for insurance, safe and very fun!

Most car owners do not need them, they simply refuse to give up the soft comfort of climate control in an age when it is no longer sustainable. The average car trip is one person going 2 miles with three empty seats and an empty trunk. Bicycling is a more sustainable way. Three wheels are enough!

I'm retired so tax rebates mean nothing to me - and yet I bought my first new vehicle ever at age 70 and incredibly, it completely pays for itself in just 8 years. How? Insurance is just $135/yr and no gas to buy. Autocycles can be as safe as a car but so much more fun! $11K saved so far.

IMO every electric vehicle sold in the US should be mandated by law to have solar cells laminated onto all horizontal surfaces.
My solar/pedal powered US made ELF trike with a 100 watt roof panel was my only transportation for 7 years - never needed to plug it in to charge.

Three wheels make the perfect compromise in most cases. Getting old doesn't have to be no fun.

Bought my last gallon of gas ten years ago. This has been fun and a real money saver. Three wheels are enough in the majority of needs.

Three wheels are enough for singles and small families. I bought my last gallon of gas 10 years ago and it is no sacrifice at all, actually a big money saver! I do local trips with a 170 pound solar/pedal hybrid or a 1300 pound EV, both US made. My driving insurance is only $134/yr!! Amazed gawkers
