Seventeen!!!! years ago, I saw Sir Reginald Dwight live for the first and only time when he filled in for Celine during her Caesars residency.

During the show, a gentleman in my row had a heart attack, was taken out and died in the lobby. What a way to go though.

Got to see my favourite band tonight, on Halloween,Teen Mortgage. Bummer that the venue changed the set time and the show started two hours earlier, so I only caught 5 songs of their set! Here's a sample of their song "Away", highly recommend checking them out. #teenmortgage

Going to catch Jonathan Richman tonight. I'll report back if Pablo Picasso has become an asshole.

Checked out Cirque du Soleil Echo in Calgary last weekend and it's still as wacky/impressive as I remember it from the Vegas days.

Got my tickets to see Belle and Sebastian in Toronto in May at Massey Hall when they are going to play the whole If You're Feeling Sinister record front to back. SO EXCITED.

Saw the film #Weapon today, very unique horror plot with a great cast. Highly recommend if you are into horrors and thrillers.

Was chatting with a friend, a composer, who also attended the Chopin concert. We both agreed that while the performance was certainly a technical masterclass, we both longed for the pieces to be a bit more musical. He noted that Beethoven was very good at weaving technical prowess with melody.

Just went to the symphony for some Chopin, then in the car home, cranked up some Rage Against the Machine. Variety is the spice of life, right?

If you're into RATM, check out our RATM episode with special guest, Garth Richardson, who produced RATM's seminal debut.

Saw Oasis in Toronto a few weeks back. It was a very good show, the band sounded tight and Liam's voice really held up. I've got a Definitely Maybe episode I haven't uploaded to Spotify yet, if you're into it, maybe I'll get some more content up over the weekend.

What new music are you listening to? I want some recommendations if you please. Any genre, give me something challenging.

At this old timey diner motif restaurant and every table has one of these on it.

Can anyone tell me how loud these things were? Just trying to imagine all of them on at once and playing different songs and what a din that would make.

Charlie Sheen docuseries on Netflix was interesting. Kind of stopped following his career after Hotshots Part Deux. Sounds like things got pretty crazy from then on.

For someone who routinely plays Helldivers II, this is wild. It will be weird to drop "Strategem" in casual conversation now.

In February 2012 after interviewing Glenn before their show at the Orpheum in #yvr I was able to take photos of #wilco for their first three songs with the rest of the media like a big boy.

I remember @nodepression.bsky.social was there too and I've been a fan ever since.

I live right near the stadium where #morganwallen is playing right now. It's not as loud as Metallica was back last August but still pretty clear from here.

I know nothing about Morgan Wallen, but he sounds like a country singer's country singer. Please don't egg my house.

First chance to see the #foofighters with their new fighter.

Speaking of #wilco, caught them earlier this month on their latest tour, and captured my favourite moment in one of the most perfect Wilco songs, Via Chicago.

If you're looking to dip toes, check out our #wilco episode with one of the best drummers and composers in the game, Glenn Kotche, who makes a guest appearance. Glenn talks Wilco, and about some of his work with Jim O'Rourke too!

She sees the hat, rack.
Is she gonna touch it?
We cannot live together
We cannot live apart
That's the situation
I've known it from the start

Every time that I look at you
Well, I can see the future
'Cause you know I know baby
That I don't wanna go

Just throwing it all away
Throwing it all away

My current favourite band #teenmortgage is featured on soundtrack to NHL 26 (17⁹). I'm just bitter about how little effort EA puts into their NHL franchise, but still stoked for TM.
